More About Special Event Insurance
Special event insurance provides liability insurance coverage for public and private, short term events. The special event holder is the insured, although many venues require being named as an additional insured on the policy. The event holder is the party hosting the event, and is generally the one to sign the user agreement within the facility. The person or organization is also the insured on the special event insurance policy. Specific types of special event insurance usually include general liability, cancellation, bad weather, host liquor liability, wedding, hole-in-one and prize indemnification. The types of events will often determine the specific coverage a venue or rental facility will require of the event holder.
